Grandfriends Day is a great opportunity for our children to show off their schoolwork, artwork, teachers, classrooms, and musical talent to a grandparent, aunt, uncle, family friend, or any especially grand person. The ceremony will begin in the cafetorium with a special musical performance then guests are welcome to visit the classroom(s), spend time at the Book Fair in the library, and shop for spirit wear.

Valet parking for our #1 Grandfriends will be complimentary and provided by the school. Valet will be open at 8:10am. All guests using the valet services will enter the carpool lane from Airline to Northwest Highway Parkway then onto Durham. Please be aware the only parking available outside of valet is parking on the neighboring streets. Please note street signage as some streets have restrictions. The parking lot to the west of the school belongs to the Church and will be closed to our guests. Please see map below for more details.

What can you do for Boone?
We invite our Grandfriends to participate in supporting Boone through a general fund donation. This is a way they can contribute to the needs of our school. Any Grandfriend donations made by April 9th will be recognized in our Grandfriends Day Program. Please note: All donations will go to the PTO General Fund. And if you choose to make your donation in honor or in memory of someone special, we will include that in the program, too! You can also donate anonymously, if you prefer.​

Our library is full of books that were dedicated by our families and Grandfriends. Honor your favorite student(s) with a book gifted to the Boone library in his/her honor. The book will have a special nameplate on the inside cover. Your student will choose which book they would like dedicated from a variety of books.
